@Driftstage5 I honestly do not remember what I paid but his pipes have increased-saw one the other day for over $10,000! I like mine better but not sure he ever repeats anything exactly. I would guess about $350 but look around or google S.Yanik on Google or even Ebay-besides if you get one like the OMG I will have to hurl 3 hoods out from Chicago to change your mind! LOL Excellent luck-Jason-in California

@jwmarco21 Consent to me say first I am not a carver and not even excellent making things. Did you mean curve the stem or pipe? If it is the stem they often place it in hot sand then bend it. If its the pipe your just carve it that way or did I miss your point? Jason

@galiffrey1 I do not know what Yanik dipped it in originaly as he has many different formulas, I know it was maily bees wax-probably unbleached and I have added my own formula many times of bees wax-oil-a small other waxes like parifin-carnuba, etc. I have many formulas as well. If you buy one that is not white and has a yellowish glow it is unbleachead wax-they will all color-this is not rocket science. Today they use all kinds of wax unlike in the ancient days. Jason

@MrBlink182ishi Glad you like it and it is fantastic fun smoking and trying to color even deeper and all over-it is heavily waxed and a small darker in person as the camera lights wash some color out-it is a favorite. Jason

    S. Yanik yes, a master indeed! Like his work and that is a really nice pipe. I have always wondered how a Meer that shape would smoke and you are making it look effortless! Now I want a pipe like that. Your pipe nearly looks like me LOL…Joe
